Matawa First Nations Fire Protection services advises and assists First Nation community leaders and council in matters dealing with fire, emergency services, fire prevention in the home, regulations regarding fire protection and acts of terrorism. We develop programs to enhance community emergency services plans, fire inspection services and resources for public buildings and residential structures. We also offer specialized programs dealing with “Risk Watch”, “Youth Fire Setters Program”, critical incident stress for fire fighters and training for Fire Chiefs and Officers in the fire departments.
