The Matawa Health Task Group will enhance Health Services and provide advisory support for its membership and communities. The Health Services shall be innovative and holistic while reflecting our cultural and traditional values.
Mission Statement
Matawa First Nations Health Task Group (MHTG) envisions a continuum of health services which values prevention, intervention and follow-up of health needs. MHTG will provide support, training, research, and evaluation services based on community directives. MHTG will respect individual/First Nations' option to access health care of their choice. Further, MHTG acknowledges the inherent right to health care.
