What is the Go Green 4 Change project?
The Go Green 4 Change is a climate change and greenhouse gas reduction awareness project. The objective of the project is to promote awareness about how lifestyle choices impact climate change, specifically global warming, and ways individuals can reduce the amount of greenhouse gases, a cause of global warming, they release. 'Go Green 4 Change' signifies four ways individuals in Matawa communities can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by making long term lifestyle changes, these are:1. Planting
2. Eating Local
3. Reducing
4. Reusing
Our goal is to have a total of 1,000 student and 100 community members, from all Matawa communities, participate by pledging to make a half tonne reduction per year in greenhouse gas emission for a total reduction of 800 tonnes per year.
