Transitional & Housing Support Program (Violence Against Women Program)

THSP services are offered in Aroland, Constance Lake, Eabametoong, Marten Falls, Neskantaga, Nibinamik and Webequie.  This program provide supports to women and their children who experience violence in their homes, such as; referral to safe houses, emergency shelters, women’s shelter, counseling (local services) and/or healing programs.  The community-based workers also provide on-going family violence prevention and awareness programs in their own communities.
