Gathering of Rivers for Community Care - Charitable Organization
The Gathering of Rivers for Community Care (Business Number: 839039716RR0001) is devoted to providing support to improve the life of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, specifically, the economically and socially disadvantaged children, youth and families in the Matawa First Nations communities of Aroland, Constance Lake, Eabametoong, Ginoogaming, Long Lake #58, Marten Falls, Neskantaga, Nibinamik and Webequie.
Indigenous youth are the fastest growing demographic in Canada and yet fifty percent of Indigenous children under the age of six live in poverty. When you choose to make a donation to the GRCC, you are giving so much more than money. Your financial assistance will help provide young Indigenous People with access to education, the chance to stay in school and graduate, and the opportunity to realize their full potential. Specific funds have been set up as follows:
- Endowment Fund

- General Gift
- In Honour or In Memoriam Gift
- Inspire the Future Bursary Fund
- Learn to Dream Fund
- Planned Gift
- Matawa Community Circle of Giving (choose a Matawa First Nation)
