JORDIN TOOTOO TO SPEAK TO MATAWA YOUTH IN THUNDER BAY
THUNDER BAY, ON: Jordin Tootoo, former professional hockey player who played for the Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, New Jersey Devils and Chicago Blackhawks will be in Thunder Bay to talk to Matawa youth as part of a kick-off event to the Matawa Health Cooperative’s (MHC) Youth Mental Health Summit taking place in the city from June 7 – 8, 2023.
Retiring in 2019 from the National Hockey League, Tootoo now spends his time giving back to the Indigenous community. He will be participating in a MHC meet and greet and will provide a motivational discussion.
Food, fun and prizes will be available for participating youth and seats will be limited.
