MATAWA EDUCATION & CARE CENTRE HOSTS GRADUATION OF 12TH COHORT IN NEWLY RENOVATED BUILDING
THUNDER BAY, ON: The Matawa Education and Care Centre (MECC) will be hosting a graduation ceremony that will include a luncheon, convocation and awards for students successfully obtaining their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Families of graduates, MECC partners, representatives, and other dignitaries have been invited. Antoine Moonias will be MECC’s 2022 graduating class valedictorian and teacher Sam Renaud will be the Master of Ceremony.
The Jordan Wabasse Memorial Awards will be presented. MECC Elders, Principal Brad Battiston and Vice-Principal Nick Shaver will be on hand to provide comments along with Sharon Nate, Matawa Education Authority Executive Director.
This will be the first time a graduation will take place in the newly renovated building.
Members of the media are cordially invited to attend.
