Finance & Administration
Matawa Finance & Administration oversees the day-to-day business and financial operations of Matawa First Nations Management (MFNM). This includes managing human resources, policies, financial resources, and corporate, legal, and contractual obligations in compliance with government regulations and relevant legislation.
The department centralizes and coordinates financial recording and reporting, supporting MFNM programs through budget development, transaction processing, payroll management, and annual independent audits, ensuring transparency and accountability. The annual consolidated audit is publicly presented at the Matawa Annual General Meeting and is available on the Matawa website.
Finance & Administration also provides administrative and financial support to Matawa First Nations upon request.
