Board of Directors
Matawa First Nations Management’s Board of Directors is appointed from within the nine member communities and is responsible for overseeing the affairs of the corporation.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sharon L. Nate, EdD, manages Matawa’s departments, programs, and subsidiary non-profit and for-profit corporations. She reports directly to the Board of Directors and provides overall leadership and direction to ensure Matawa’s vision and priorities are achieved.
